All UV Reactive Rocks have been personally hounded and collected from the south shore of Lake Ontario using various UV lights fitted with a 365 nm filter (longwave UV radiation that the minerals housed in these rocks reradiates back in various shades of visible light). The Lake Ontario Lava Rocks feature either Sodalite (reactive in a bright fluorescent orange color) or Esperite (reactive in a bright fluorescent yellow color). The Lake Ontario Blues Rocks feature Fluorite (reactive in a deep blue color). The Lake Ontario Fossil Rocks include marine fossils made our of Calcite (reactive in white or off-white color) or very rarely Feldspar (reactive in a peach color). Lake Ontario Rainbow Rocks are very rare and include a variety of colors, typically blues, peach, pink, purples, and whites all intergrown together.

NOTE: All current rocks are longwave UV reactive. We will offer shortwave reactive rocks soon!
